Standardised installation and structured initial setup

EPLAN Platform Start

Prerequisites: You have an EPLAN ID and are a member of a company organization (this is a proprietary, protected cloud workspace).

  1. Click on the desktop icon for your EPLAN version.
  2. The EPLAN Identity Client opens. See "EPLAN Identity Client" below.

Note: If you used an earlier EPLAN version, the "Import Settings" dialog opens.

  • Select the check boxes of the settings panes that you want to apply, and then click [OK].
  • The settings of the selected areas are imported into the current version and corresponding settings databases are created. The settings for the areas Property Configuration, Dialog Memory, Tree and List Configurations and External Programs are also adopted.

EPLAN Identity Client

  1. Log in to the EPLAN Identity Client with your EPLAN ID (e-mail address and password).
  2. After successful registration, you will be taken to the organization selection - Select your own company organization.
    • Note: If you are only a member of a company organization, this step is automatically skipped.
  3. The EPLAN Platform is launched.

Hint:

You can also sign in with your Microsoft account in the future after successfully signing in.
